Last week 7THLEO made its Leicester debut at Leicester Made & Regions 2026 and what an experience it was.
Walking into a room full of talented UK manufacturers, designers and industry leaders, all united by a love for craft and making, the energy was something special. Exhibiting alongside such incredible talent reminded me why I do this work and how much the handmade, the considered and the carefully constructed still matters in a world moving so fast.
The reactions to my pieces were everything. There is something about watching someone discover handbeaded work for the first time, the surprise, the curiosity, the way they lean in closer to understand how it was made. Bead by bead. By hand. With patience and precision. That reaction never gets old. ๐ค
Beyond the exhibition floor, I had the honour of being invited to an exclusive CEO Roundtable alongside MP Rosie Wrighting, Labour MP for Kettering, and MP Shockat Adam, Independent MP for Leicester South a powerful conversation about the future of UK manufacturing, policy and the apparel industry. Being in that room as a founder building 7THLEO across the world felt significant. These are the conversations that shape what comes next.
