What a beautiful day today! Thank you @heartsoverhate for allowing us to partner with you to offer free dental care. So many people were impacted today by your unwavering commitment to love people and carry on Dr. Ben Harouni’s legacy.
Thank you @sdcdentalfoundation for partnering with @heartsoverhate for today’s clinic, in honor of Dr. Ben Harouni on what would have been his 30th birthday. We saw 25 patients today thanks to the amazing volunteer dentists!
We are honored to host the 2nd annual Hearts Over Hate Dental Clinic with @heartsoverhate this Friday, February 20. This clinic is in honor of Dr. Ben Harouni, who was killed almost two years ago in his dental practice. Hearts Over Hate seeks to honor his legacy with this yearly dental clinic to help those who couldn't otherwise afford dental care. We're raising $3,000 to host the clinic. Do you want to help? 30 Years of Light 🤍
This Friday, Ben would have turned 30.
Some birthdays are celebrated with cake and candles.
This one will be celebrated with compassion, service, and love.
In honor of Ben’s 30th birthday in heaven, we are hosting our annual Free Dental Clinic, giving back to the community he cared so deeply about.
Ben became a dentist because he wanted to make people smile.
And even now… he still is.
This Friday, every patient will receive free dental care.
Every patient will leave with love.
Every patient will also receive LuvLine, because Ben’s legacy continues, one thread at a time.
Grief and purpose live side by side.
We miss him beyond words.
But his love never dies.
It shows up in every volunteer who says yes.
In every smile restored.
In every act of kindness.
Happy 30th Birthday in heaven, Ben.

Felix has a beautiful new smile! Having graduated from the program at Teen Challenge, he has now joined the staff. He wanted to get his smile restored so he could be a "friendly face" to those who come to Teen Challenge. We are so touched by his heart for hospitality!
