In 2025 The Corner was a deep & conceptual lyrical exhibition. Thematically, I guided the room through the progression of poetry & style over time to highlight how Hip-Hop & Rap are extensions of the Black literary tradition.
On May 23rd, thanks to the support of @culturesource I have the opportunity to dive deeper by investigating a new idea: How can wellbeing, mindfulness, and healing methodologies be front and center at a Hip-Hop/Rap showcase?
Thank you for supporting artists like myself & pushing the entire practice forward!!

Introducing Knightcap: where big ideas meet candid conversation.
In our first episode, two forces in arts and culture, @johnjarbeaux of The Bearded Ladies Cabaret and Omari Rush of @culturesource , settle in and give us something to sip on: Art doesn’t always tidy up the truth—nor does it need to. It blurs the edges, stretches the frame, and opens new ways of being. Cheers to *that.*

🚨 Time is almost up to apply to be a Bloomberg Arts Intern! (BAI) Hear what our Lead BAI Mentor has to say about the program:
“'I would’ve never got this experience anywhere else!' This is the most common quote I hear from interns. CultureSource provides intentional worksites and workshops where the interns can grow professionally and personally. You would have opportunities to work on your college essays, build your personal brand, and learn how to build and maintain your credit plus learn healthy spending habits at a young age.
'I know so many people now!' CultureSource also helps you build long lasting friendships and professional connections. When you participate in our summer internship, your time with CultureSource doesn’t just end there you will automatically be apart of our alumni family!
Don’t wait! Apply to be a CultureSource Intern today! Can’t wait to meet you!"
