✨🌑✨Happy Lunar New Year weekend! 🔥🐎 We celebrated a bit at the Atlanta Botanical Garden Flower Show: Heirlooms 🌿🪷 I contributed a keepsake box designed with plants from my family and won a yellow ribbon for third place <3 This was my first time designing for a major flower show. Thank you to Peggy and Susan and @atlbotanical for gifting the wooden box to embellish for the Division IV. Botanical Arts Class 3 Exhibition. I’m going to use it between plantings to store cherished heirloom seeds I received from the Georgia Cherokee Community Alliance and @thecherokeenation seed bank plant and cultural preservation program.

The event is to highlight innovative approaches to building wealth within creative industries, including art collecting, gallery ownership, and culinary arts. It opens with an art show featuring works by local artists, followed by a panel discussion. This piece originated as a charcoal live sketch made during a live music performance …Later it turned into a colorful mix of acrylic, watercolors, and ink inspired by Dionysus of Greek mythology and the soul’s inner journey. It’s infused with symbols of growth, vitality, and the abundance of nature’s bounties. A reminder of our interconnectedness and a celebration of a flourishing life thriving with a hope for the inner self to evolve, embrace joy and transformation.
