SD: The fact of the war served as an impetus for the realization of quite simple truths, no matter how funny it may sound, for the search for the ideal model for photo references for the upcoming work. The main aspects of the search are the following simple rules for me, which instantly liberate an artist like me who cannot resist sexualizing the object:
Rules:
1. The model should be closer in spirit than appropriate in appearance (attitude to life and also a certain physical closeness, even at some mediocre level, prevails over external data, and my admiration for specific features) is an undeniable need. I began to notice an unpleasant tendency, which consists of an unwillingness to attach importance to several personal qualities of the model until I began to criticize and peer into my attitude towards them during the work process i.e., indifference;
2. Imaginary or not surveillance of the model, integration into her personal life, and partial appropriation with sufficient proximity seem to be a must in an attempt to capture a feeling of obsession about the depicted object. That is to become a person close to this object, practically a relative, or to create such an illusion;
3. The model must be unaware of her increased and deliberate fetishization until the work, as a kind of revelation, is completed;
4. Distortion of the personality of the model is necessary since it acts as an object and not a subject in any way, it is like a kind of toy of fate - soft and supple, ready to take any form, without losing the fundamental characteristics of the personality

SD: “Never betray your indifference”, I always thought. Although, an absurd childish naivete, which did not portend trouble, was visible in my works, smoothly filling all the space with it. This feeling of aimless freedom was uplifting. I would like to avoid excuses, but exhaustive circumstances did not even allow me to change my mind from wasted time. Here they are, destroying the consequences of world events that accidentally affected the calm, unpredictable life of an idler, his painting, and its perception. Now the feeling of indifference was not only habitual and natural, but at least undesirable, it seemed to deliberately flood the space. People who have a certain weight for me, artistic interest, and inspire me to lie, gradually began to fade against the backdrop of oppression, which I unconsciously had to experience. It was impossible, inevitable, to get rid of the idea that my favorite topic of fetishization of my extremely distant acquaintances was a mediocre pretext and an attempt to escape from myself and some internal conflicts. I needed to start growing up.
