Job Title: Performer, Walt Disney World
Statement:
"As a Disney performer, versatility across multiple dance styles is essential. At California State University, Fullerton, I trained in a wide range of classes, strengthening my foundation through intensive ballet training while also exploring diverse cultural movement styles in contemporary dance. Let Nimrod the Mighty Hunter by Benjamin Britten
officially finished the choral conducting sequence at csuf! it was awesome getting to see a start of what my career as a future choral educator can become. this has been the most challenging semester of my life but i am really glad i got the opportunity to take every lesson i have learned in this class to be reminded why i love conducting, choir, and music in general. i would like to give a special shoutout to @ztlindquist who not only did the difficult task in taking over the conducting class for dr istad’s sabbatical but has given me nothing but support throughout this semester. 🩵
this was my conducting final from monday, its definitely far from perfect but i wanted to document how far ive come. we were given about a week to prepare and memorize our final pieces- i learned a lot and we are getting better at compound complex meter. excited to be done and hoping this will lead to more conducting opportunities outside of school soon !!
