For this painting I wanted to represent a maze-like, interlocking pattern that combines simple, geometric forms with a complex continuous flow.
The design was inspired by pre-Columbian art and architecture. As I continued my pattern I wanted to include a message choosing HOPE over fear and looking forward towards a better future.
