Stick life wasn't for me in this car. Out came the TKX and in went the @puredrivetrainsolutions built 8hp90. Mounted to the LS with @domiworks.engineering adapter plate. Controlled via @canformance and @haltech Nexus r5(thanks to @centerlinems ). @hprtuning pre built harness, trans mount and billet pan. @dctshifter shifter. @driveshaftshop cv drive shaft. Super fun setup now! Sit back and enjoy auto or click into manual mode and have shift cut up shifts and blips on the downshifts.

An item I never liked when I had it done back in 2005/06 when I first 6.0/4l80 swapped the car. Mind you the car scene was much different with way less offerings, tools and Chinese welders really kick started the industry imo. With the new trans and engine placement this year I cut the old trans tunnel out front to back. Made a template and dropped it off with @ryeralyn to bend some tin then got to work. Tunnel insulated with @designenginc trans shield.

Chopped the upper control arm mounts off the @millerbuiltusa floater strange 9". No one makes a stock frame torque arm kit that would work with my setup nicely so I reached out to @cortexracing and picked up their torque arm, pinion mount, and front pivot block. Drew up the rest and got to work! Watts link mounted to the diff. Big thanks to @ryeralyn for taking my chicken shit templates and bending a crossmember and associated tin so I could sink the crossmember into the floor to get more exhaust clearance.

Another project off the list. Cut and fill all the holes from previous iterations in the trunk. Swapped out my ricks stainless tank to a @fuelsafe cell with @radiumengineering FCST. Dual intank pumps with a smaller lift pump to fill the surge tank. @prowireusa supplying the wire and connectors. @hotrodfuelhose supplying the ptfe hose and fittings. I forgot to take pics of the trunk before but it wasn't good haha.
I've ran the Viair 10000 on board air compressor setup for 7 or 8 years now. Always worked flawless. I use it for boost control and have an accordion hose for filling tires. I decided to shed some weight by changing to an aluminum tank. Also showing the weight difference between co2 and this. Mine could be lightened up further with a smaller tank and less fittings to remove the tire filling option. I took an aluminum Allstar tank and did my thing with it. Like always, @impactcoatings killed it on the textured black.

I posted these up on my Story a couple weeks ago. Front and rear tow hooks for 71/72 Chevelles. I have 3 red powder coated and 1 raw set left! Comes with hardware. Rear hook utilizes factory bumper bracket holes. The front hook uses the radiator support bolt access hole and one hole requires drilling. Shoot me a message if you're interested!

Couple random pics from when I prepped the newer-ish 3.73 diff(new pinion/axle seals, fluid, brake lines, wheel cylinders, etc) and pulled the 4.56 one out. Much better. Truck drives substantially better around town and can even attempt some highway activities.
