Forthcoming in 2026: The Center for California Literature
Today, we’re excited to announce a new organization is forming in order to increase access to the literary arts throughout the state of California. In recent months, we secured fiscal sponsorship with Community Partners (our administrative home), formed our Advisory Board, and began to dream BIG. We have been working diligently to develop a multi-year launch strategy for the organization that will have an impact on access to the literary arts for the generations to come. We believe that literature should be accessible to every community and that a vibrant literary life can be built throughout the diverse regions of California by supporting the needs of writers, readers, and book sellers.
