Texas, this one’s for you ⭐ CSEF is proud to announce the RThomp Scholarship Fund for Engineers, a $5,000 scholarship fund for Texas skateboarders pursuing engineering related degrees, funded by Texas’ own Ryan Thompson.
This is our first scholarship built in direct partnership with a pro skater. “Not enough people know how cracked skaters are at learning things quickly. Adding more engineers to the skater pool will ultimately help the skate industry in the long run.”
Because skaters already have the mindset. As Ryan puts it: “Skaters understand an extremely punishing learning process without much guidance. They’re basically street researchers. It’s just a matter of being shown the door.”
That door is open. Apps are open. Apply by May 11th.
