Four years later and I’ve finally drawn an official cover for my One Piece/Full Moon crossover comic🥹 it took me way too long to come up with a composition I liked - I’m still not completely happy with the way I framed things, and I could’ve done a bit more with lighting, but overall I’m fairly satisfied. I LOVE this story and I wish I had more time to dedicate to it. Blending shoujo elements into a typically shonen media is so much fun and brings out a level of emotion you can’t quite access in an action/adventure series. I still want to finish this comic, some day. Maybe in my next phase of life. What does it mean to be a Monster? I am so excited to share this I could scream!! I’m back with another DB OC! This is Li (or L.I.) She’s an AI interface built by Capsule Corp but used by most corporations and officials in the Upper Cities. While primarily residing behind a screen, she is also accessible as a hologram. Her name is an abbreviation, standing for the Lazuli Interface…and if she looks at all familiar, I assure you, that was intentional😉 Shoutout to @obiwance for encouraging me to pursue this idea💕 Li was inspired in part by iRobot (2004), Doctor Who, and Nicole from the Archie Sonic Comics. While not a main character in the story, he plays a pretty significant role in teaching our three afab protagonists the lost art of ki manipulation. . All the news about Xenoverse 3 inspired me to revisit my own Dragon Ball Flash Forward story, this time set in the GT timeline. Mine is a dystopia, taking place 500 years after Goku flew off with Shenron at the end of GT. There is only one person, across time and space and 500+ years, that Nic trusts enough to let his barriers crumble. . ❄️This Has All Happened Before❄️ Another Frostbite piece inspired by a @bethjcrowley song. The more I listened to “Dig your own grave,” particularly the chorus, the more I felt it really resonated with Nicolae, and the trail of errors that follow his long life. This is the first time I think I’ve drawn these “mirrored groups” so to speak together; that was a fun challenge! I’m also really proud of the snow effects??
