It’s actually difficult trying to take a bad photo of Japan, especially in Kyoto. The scenery was next level- every temple + shrine will have you feeling like you stepped right into a movie. Did a disservice to ourselves by only spending 2 days in Osaka but that means there’s more to check out on the next visit. Osaka had a great energy to it, Nishinari-ku especially. The locals were so interested in watching me set up and break down my camera gear. I showed them how everything ran on my rig in exchange for smiles and handshakes. Gearing up for the @chaostown Season 1 finale this Friday 5/17 so I gotta let off some Japan dumps. Still processing my first time out to the motherland- still hasn’t fully hit me how much I did or how many awesome people I got to meet + spend time with. This trip has been something l’ve been wanting to do my entire life along with meeting family in Okinawa and I can finally cross that off my bucket list. It’s surreal; the immediate respect, love and connection I experienced with strangers from across the globe within minutes. It’s hard to put into words but the feeling is amazing.
