CROW CALLING VIII: SATURDAY MAY 4 An honor to return to Azoth for the eighth crow calling show, continuing a monthly tradition. This month features the exciting local talent Akemie, a vocalist combining elements of modular synthesis and hyperpop, alongside returning multi-instrumentalist and genre bending drummer Tendrils, prolific local producer Moonside, and hosting the night is Greystar playing some original, unreleased trax. $10 NOTAFLOF, 21+, at Azøth. Thinking Spells is the alias of @casual_decay , a departure from his ambient material into loud, aggressive and personal work. SHELL CORPUS // PDX // 02/24 // LINEUP CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT (NOW WITH THE SHOW DATE ON THE POSTEUR!!!) Unfortunately, due to technical issues, Vektroid was forced to bow out of this weekend's show. In her place we've managed to get the one and only DJ CHAINWALLET (@deejaychainwallet ), and shuffled around the lineup a bit to make sure the energy stays up all night long. The original line up of brainrot terrorist @levar.burzum & Mouse Magician @nanodemusic , as part of the Shell Corpus west coast tour, workin with the industrial chaos of east-coast soundslasher @faradayribcage , as part of HER tour, and support from local relays @jacksonfromonline & @_greystar , will continue on as scheduled. We hope to bring you a glimpse of the true power hidden within the misnomer "Computer Music" (or "Digital Hardcore Revival" or "Tech-Punk" depending on which music publication you ask. Or what time of year it is.) Show's at @azothspace (NE 87th Ave + Sandy Blvd) and door price is a sliding $10-$20 scale. Doors are at 8, and maybe I'll eat dinner around 2. Anyone wanna eat dinner together? I'm not buying it for you but you can sit there and we can chat. It'll probably be fun, who knows. Lemme know in the comments what you wanna eat for dinner.
