WHO WE ARE
We’re a church community that exists to lead you to a life-changing experience of Jesus’ grace, champion peace and liberty in the midst of disagreement, and help you live God’s purpose for you in this world.
But we’re more than that. We’re people. We’re East Bay dwellers. We’re California natives and transplants from everywhere across the map. We’re blue collar workers; bricklayers and electricians. We’re government workers, teachers, students; we’re parents, sons, daughters, and everything in between.
We’re bartenders and baristas. We exist on either side of the counter, and on any side of a number of issues. We don’t all believe the same thing - what fun would that be?
Some of us have been hurt by churches. Some of us have done the hurting. We’re all striving to believe that there’s something more beyond what we’ve experienced.
We’re a church community that’s committed to loving each other and living in harmony. And we believe that the Story that the Creator is telling with your life is so good, so full of promise, that we want to be a part of it.

Whether you're looking for a new church or just visiting, your kids will have fun at CrossWinds Kids. Our goal is to help kids know, love, and reflect Jesus in their daily lives. Each Sunday, we offer age-appropriate lessons that encourage kids to build a relationship with Jesus and understand their God-given identity. We offer programming for children ages as young as 6 weeks old and up to 5th grade
CrossWinds Kids is run by dedicated staff and volunteers who partner with parents to nurture authentic faith in Jesus. We prioritize safety, so all volunteers undergo a thorough screening process, including background checks, interviews, and training.
We aim to teach kids what the Bible says about their lives and guide them on a lifelong journey with Christ.
CROSSWINDS YOUNG ADULTS

If you’re a young adult looking to connect with others and grow in your faith, we’ve got a place for you! Our Young Adults group meets twice-monthly, and is a fantastic, vibrant community where 18-29 year olds build friendships and navigate life together. Ready to jump in? Join us this year as we return to the Lake Atitlan area of southern Guatemala. We will be serving the Indigenous Mayan population, one of the most impoverished communities in the hemisphere, by building homes and providing medical care. Over the past 12 years serving this community, we have been able to build 178 homes, and see over 400 patients, many of whom have never seen a doctor before.
