Our very own Brandt Deeds has earned the teams first podium of the year at 2nd place in the CAT 3 Koppenberg Race. He put on a amazing display of grit and showed the fans what its like to have that dawg in you.
Congratulations Brandt!
With the Colorado spring classics wrapped up, our Crosswind boys animated races across pavements and gravel, coming away with a debut podium and a string of encouraging top 10 & top 5 results. It was a fast & fun month of kicking the legs into gear and gelling as a new team. We’re eager and ready to come out swinging for the kickoff of summer racing at the Superville Stage Race this weekend. See you all on Saturday 🤠
First official weekend riding w @crosswind_racing was ⛽️, and such a learning experience (basically, gotta get güd). CSU Crit is not for the weak (me 😂), and inside lines thru gravel are only as good as the other people trying to ride them!
Regardless I’m incredibly stoked to ride with this team, and this weekend’s State Champs road race @boulder_roubaix will be a great opportunity to put some lessons into practice. C U out there 🫱🏾🫲🏼

The boys had fun at the USAFA Road & Crit race, still racing off the cobwebs.
Team will be in full force for this weekend at the CSU
Crit and Cobb Lake RR!
Time To Cook💨
And special thanks to @kris__vlad for the seductive photography!
Ian O’Lear is a Cat 4 rider in his second year of racing, originally from Ashland, Ohio and now based in Centennial, Colorado, where he works as a bicycle mechanic. A longtime rider and occasional runner, he leans into the endurance side of things as a true diesel.
At 5’11 and around 170 lbs, he loves to rip up Deer Creek & High Grade. Mid-ride stops are a mix of Mexican Coke, a coffee cake or cinnamon roll, and for bigger days, somehow even gas station chicken noodle soup makes the cut.
He’s looking forward to cutting his teeth in at the mid-week crit series this season, and as for 2025, there’s been at least one crash on the road… plus a few extra on the dirt just to round things out.
Max Goff is a Cat 4 racer but reads at a Cat 3 level. He is in his second year of racing. He’s originally from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and now living in Arvada, Colorado, working as an engineer. Before cycling, he was a D1 and U.S. National Team rower.
At 6’5 and 99kg, he’s usually easy to spot and tends to end up on the front like the Diesel train he is doing the work in crits and road races. Outside of racing, he spends time on Lookout Mountain and keeps mid-ride stops simple with a single shot of espresso.
He’s got LoToJa on the calendar this year, and already checked off two crashes in 2025 both in the same race, which feels efficient. Also he wanted it to be known that he didn’t use ChatGPT to write any of that.
Sebastian Andujar is a Cat 3 rider in his second year of racing, originally from Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany and now based in Denver, Colorado, where he works as a graphic designer. A former Muay Thai fighter, he brings a fast, aggressive style to the bike as a sprinter and puncheur
At 5’10 and 164 pounds, he focuses on road races and spends plenty of time on Lookout Mountain. His go-to mid-ride stop is a double shot of espresso, and a gf cherry pie as he would die if he had wheat (please don’t throw bread at me)
Sebastian’s most memorable crash was when he hit a raccoon going 29 mph during a training ride sprint. Not that he remembered much of it but he finds it funny.
He is still lining up with 2 goals for the season: To Win and to bring great honor to the team.
