Yesterday we undertook our very first Crosswalk, and it was an incredible encounter and reflection. Christ died, was buried and rose again - all after carrying a heavy cross while beaten and bruised.
We took a moment to commemorate this in a profound walk through London streets with a symbolic cross. There were shouts of praise, hearts of worship and fire filled prayers as we walked in the presence of the Lord.
What a powerful name is the name of Jesus! And we worship Him always as we deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him. ✝️

More than just a Crosswalk…
What started as an idea turned into an incredible experience. Few words can describe the weight of taking a small glimpse into Jesus’ experience when He sacrificed His life.
Nothing we did could match what He went through - yet we still felt the burden. It was spiritual as much as it was physical. Much like our very own lives. Much like our very own journeys - we carry physical and spiritual burdens and need great strength.
Jesus is our strength. He paid it all so we could walk. Yet even still, He still instructed us to take up our cross and follow Him. Daily we carry a cross and burdens that weigh us down but Jesus also says with Him - His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

Yesterday, @crossngym went on a walk and endured just a fraction of what our Lord Jesus Christ went through.
This Easter, it’s easy to get caught up in everything around us and forget the true meaning of what we’re celebrating. It’s more than a moment, it’s freedom, grace, a second chance, forgiveness, and the promise of tomorrow.
All because of one man… Jesus Christ.

The road to Calvary was not long by distance - about 650 yards. A walk that, under ordinary circumstances, might have taken less than 10 minutes.
But 2000 years ago, this was no ordinary walk. Every step was slowed by the weight of the cross, the tearing of flesh, the jeers of the crowd, the exhaustion of a body already broken. What should have been a short journey became a prolonged path of suffering; love stretched out in time for the sake of humanity.
He could have refused. He could have stopped. Yet He didn’t. Sometimes we measure life by efficiency - how quickly we move; how smoothly things go. But Good Friday reminds us that the most important journeys are not rushed. Love lingers. Sacrifice can often take time and deep effort.
On that road, every staggered step was intentional. Every fall carried purpose. Every moment drawn out was another declaration: “I am doing this for you.”
“And He, bearing His cross, went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha.” (John 19:17)
Today, we don’t just remember the destination. We reflect on the journey—the slowed, painful, deliberate path of love.
So walk with Him. In your burdens. In your waiting. In your quiet suffering. He knows the road. He has already walked it.
