shooting on a video wall is always a fun challenge. there were two primary looks, the urban setting and flying through the sky at golden hour. we set hard and soft sources from all directions and automated the dimming curves in Blackout. a color chase simulated passing city lights and practical gags included foreground fog and manually panning/obscuring the sources with solids and diffusion to create those imperfections you’d find on location.
