Snail Mail Drop 001
Acid Rain
They’re finally here!
I am so excited for these little creatures to make their way online and to their new homes. Each snail and slug is completely different within this colour way, whether it’s the movement or the way the glazes have interacted in the kiln - there is only one of each and there is a limited number in each drop.
There are 2 different sizes, mini (6 - 7.5 cm) and regular (9 - 11 cm), available.
Each snail and slug is marked underneath with SM001, and each collection going will be marked with a code to denote each drop.
I hope you love these little creatures as much as I do, I’m so excited by the possibilities of all future drops!
Snail Mail will be available to buy tomorrow on my website - link in bio!

Are you hoping to get a slug or a snail?!

🌞 Shop Update 🌞
It’s been a little while but the next shop update is just around the corner…
Expect colour, expect florals, expect swear words!
I have got to admit that the kiln needing to have it’s elements replaced and a minor hiccup with a glaze firing means I don’t have as many pieces as originally planned but there is still such a mixture of pieces that are gonna be going online.
There will be 3 different sized mugs, 2 different sized beakers, bowls, trinket dishes, pin badges, pendants and lovespoon decorations!
Every piece has been handmade by me to bring a little bit of joy to your everyday, whether you’re obsessed with goddesses and mushrooms or sarcastic words of affirmation this shop drop has you covered!
What are you excited to see in this update?!
Everything will be live to buy from 8.30pm on Thursday 29th May.
Also as a side note, due to ever increasing prices for materials and a very overdue repricing session some pieces may be more expensive than in previous shop updates.

Curate ⭐️
Is there a wrong way to curate your own collection of pottery? Absolutely not!
Whether you want to choose your own colour-way, stay within collections or simply choose pieces which speak to you I think this shop update has something for everyone!
As a die hard fan of more is more, I think each piece brings a little joy to the everyday.
Tonight’s shop update is bigger than usual and there will be mugs (3 sizes!), bowls, beakers (2 sizes), decorations, pendants and pin badges!
So tell me, how would you curate your own Crock collection?

Honestly can you believe how fast this is creeping up??
It’s all systems go behind the scenes so I hope you have Snapped Up firmly saved in your calendar by now!
So let’s get down to some of the intros of who you’ll find at our market in June. 1st up is the utter queen @crockashwt
She’s been on quite the journey this year and we’re totally here for it. Bringing her gorgeous pottery makes and infectious vibes we always enjoy having Angharad at our markets. If a woman can make me covet a slug then she’s a legend in our eyes.

Live part 2! 🌞
Instagram rudely cut me off mid ramble 😅 but here’s me talking a bit more about the @scarvapotterysupplies Earthstone Underglazes which I ordered… I don’t recommend products unless I really bloody love them, and I really love these underglazes!

Raku weekend ♥️
My heart and head are both full to the brim with joy and ideas after this magical weekend!
So grateful to be able to not only experience this gorgeous part of the world but spend time with my friends and meet more wonderful humans. A weekend of creative energy and play feels so restorative after a chaotic April and it’s all down to @james_stead_ceramics of @tudorhallceramics for inviting us to raku and pit fire.
This is just the tiniest snippet of what we got up to this weekend, I had so much fun with my slugs and snails and can not wait to make a Snail Mail Drop full of Raku slugs and snails!

Studio update! 🌞
A little update on how the new studio is looking before I throw cups for @hikitalo - there are boxes everywhere and I need a lot more storage but there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
What workshops would you like to do in the new studio?!

Goodbye to F44 ♥️
This room has seen me through 27 months of making, countless conversations with studio neighbours who’ve become friends, made god knows how many cups of coffee and seen me take part in Pottery Throw Down!
I got this studio after leaving a long term relationship and I didn’t have anywhere to put my kiln and wheel, this room became a lifeline for my pottery making and my own sanity and introduced me to a community I had wished for.
The end of an era. My own little safe haven which I have filled to the brim with other people’s artwork and pottery and new materials, all of the things that bring me joy… but I had outgrown this space. So whilst I am saying bye to F44, my new studio is only downstairs.
This room will always be very special to me, it has one of my favourite views and brilliant neighbours, and I hope whoever moves in has as much love for this room as I do!
Snail Mail 🐌
Slow down. Something small is on its way.
Snail Mail will be a monthly drop of hand-crafted ceramic snails and slugs, released in limited numbers and evolving month by month. No two ever quite the same. Like the creatures that inspire them, they arrive quietly, carrying their own subtle character and charm.
Every month introduces a new colourway. Some are soft and earthy, others bright or unexpected, but all are fleeting. Once a colourway is gone, it won’t return in quite the same way. This makes each release a moment in time.
Whether perched on a shelf, nestled among plants, or sent as a thoughtful token, these small ceramic companions invite a gentler pace. They are reminders to notice details, to enjoy the gradual, and to find beauty in the overlooked.
Take your time. They will too.
Save the date…

Introducing the Winnie Collection 💙
The Winnie Collection is a celebration of memory, place, and quiet creativity—rooted in the mosaic-lined garden walls of Ty Isaf, my great grandparents’ farm in Shwt, South Wales. These walls, lovingly adorned by my great grandmother Winnie Watkins, were formed from fragments of broken pottery, each piece thoughtfully placed to create something enduring from what was once discarded.
The Winnie Collection is not just pottery, it is where past and present meet through clay and memory.
The name Crock-Â-Shwt is a gentle nod to my Great Grandparent’s (Winnie and Eynon) farm — a place woven into the spirit of the collection. It reflects both heritage and playfulness, holding onto a sense of place while allowing it to evolve into something new. In this way, the collection is not just about objects, but about carrying forward fragments of childhood — shaped, fired, and given new life.
The Winnie Collection is online to view, but will launch with pieces available to buy on
Saturday 28th March
1000AM
I hope you love this collection as much as I do, it’s been years in the making!
⚡️Gladstone Maker’s Market ⚡️
I was so glad to be reunited with my pottery family this weekend and to meet so many kind people. I’ve been overwhelmed by such beautiful words and had the honour of speaking to as many of you as possible! I have been blown away with how many of you have given my pottery a home - and I’m so excited to see where everything ends up - especially the slugs and snails!
What a treat to be in the tile gallery, I didn’t take any photos!!
You can tell how busy I’ve been by my lack of social media and story sharing!
I am so happy I’ve been able to meet other brilliant potters and potters from previous series, you’ve all been so welcoming!
I’ve left Stoke with a very full heart, and some very empty boxes! I’ll be updating my website with the smallest shop update on Saturday, I have a handful of slugs and some mosaic mugs but not much else!
I’ll be sharing some exciting news over the coming weeks! 👀
Until then! Have a look at the beautiful pottery of this year’s potters, of which we have been totally looked after by our super, special shiny @augustno14 who made sure we were drinking and eating! You’re bloody lush! ♥️
