This was one of the last movies I worked on before the pandemic hit. 'Tia Madre' premiered at the C1 Originals Film Festival in 2019, and it tied for the Best Cinematography with fellow LPS member Tey Clamor's work.

Starting tomorrow, September 4, the Lupon ng Pilipinong Sinematograpo (LPS) instagram account will be hosted by one member for an entire week. We are very excited to bring this back on our Instagram account so everyone can see the wide range of talents we have in our roster of members.
First LPS member we have invited is Carlos Mauricio, LPS (@crloth ). Carlos is a cinematographer who approaches filmmaking with modesty and adaptability. His portfolio features standout pieces such as LEONOR WILL NEVER DIE, spotlighted at the 2021 OR 2022 Sundance Film Festival, and encompasses everything from cherished indie projects like 2 COOL 2 BE 4GOTTEN to well-received mainstream films like EXES BAGGAGE. Carlos enjoys crafting worlds through collaborative efforts with directors, production designers, and fellow crew members. Across formats—be it features, shorts, series, or commercials—his lens reflects his heartfelt dedication to storytelling.
