wanted to test crowds abit more than follow path or shuffle through animations at the stadium, there is a base intent then added some environment events that changes their behavior and interactions, animations are chunky and jittery but thats what i got .. for now, maybe will update. Usually i do present a more raw result of any of my setup but the rule goes: more time-> more tweaks-> better results
1-chars with rig (fab library)
2-lots of mixamo animations
3-some retarget but having multiple animations from different rigs its kinda tricky and time consuming- wanted more focus on crowd sim itself- states/ logic/ interaction
4-lots states/ trigger and trigger conditions for default general action
5-mpm sim (balls/ tower + 2buildings)
6-sim crowd with more awareness/interaction with whats happening aka “Sprinkle of panic and fear”
7-pyro for mpm
8-some clouds aaaand
9-render

here i wanted to try doing cfx with different sim states
1. groom- pretty basic, used guide groom to adjust the overall shape(strand length) and some manual lifting from skin aside from many att paint done before hair generation (actual guides, not the proper hair for rendering)
2. otis- muscle preparation and sim based on otis human with adjustments, its was unexpectedly fast to solve but some tweaks were needed and had some extras filecaches as checkpoints
3. groom sim with standard vellum with some extras wranglers inside for the hair to behave as needed when interacting (on first sight you wont see any difference from sim and guided by muscles but a deeper look will change that)
4. mpm sim for snow
5. flip for fluid with a sphere to a carve point on a manual drawn curve
6. pyro fire and pop for embers, some embers were selected and dragged in a solver for att transfer to skin and then transferred to guides after hair generation to “cut”
7. flip and pyro sim had its corresponding skin for burnt/wet attribute
8. some renders are with moblur, some not, as i wanted to keep rendering with 3min per frame maximum, average was somewhere between 2-2:30

2-twostep flip simulation (lowrez then hirez with evaluated lowrez frame)
3-vellum sim for leaves, eelgrass and usual grass
4-moss bending from water current controlled just by normal transfer with lerp for smoothness
5-lazy vorticity as whitewater ))
6-wetmaps… lots of wetmaps
sprinkled with DoF and MoBlur
lots of misplaced assets for that strong current but … it is what it is))

small project involving raspberrypi3b+ with mpu6050 as server for udp stream, ue is reading upd stream converting values to rotations, trees with rigs and custom physical assets, 3d fluid simulations (water and smoke) and lots of convex hulls collisions
