This video is a glimpse of what we experienced in this past course, and I want to take the chance to thank everyone who was part of it in one way or another.
Thank you so much to all the students for trusting this dance formation. It’s been beautiful to witness your growth, not just as dancers but as people. I’m really proud of what we’ve built together and so grateful for everything we’ve shared.

Cristina Buenaflor (she/her), born in Madrid of Filipino descent, is currently based in Berlin. With over ten years of experience, she bridges stage performance and film as a professional dancer, choreographer, movement director, and educator, creating participatory, community-centered projects. Her dedication to the art of movement has led her to explore styles such as Soul Dance, House Dance, Hip hop, Locking, and Whacking. She has worked with international artists in dance-theater pieces,
television, commercials, and music videos, and with brands including Zara, JBL and San Miguel.
Cristina is a former member of ComUnity Danza (Spain), both a dance program and collective. Promoting knowledge, respect for the culture, and love for street and club dance styles. She currently directs Kapwa Movers, a Berlin-based dance training program. She is also currently developing a dance-theatre work exploring the Filipino diaspora and co-organizes the Jack & Pose House Dance and Whacking festival in Berlin.
