i’ve been going to uncle lou’s since i was 20, and it was one of the first places i ever played a show at. lou has done so much for music in central florida, and has hosted some of the most diverse shows i’ve seen. places that let anyone and everyone play are exceedingly rare and profoundly important for giving artists at every level of confidence, skill and success a room to try shit out, to take new chances and to find themselves. lou has given us all so much, and no one should be targeted by the scum of the earth fascists that took him away this past weekend. there’s a gofundme for his legal fund that i’ve put at the top of my linktree and i’ll be submitting a new song to the compilation being done to raise money for him. i hope every other artist i know who’s spent time there does the same. free lou, fuck ICE, and fuck anyone and everyone who had anything to do with this happening. we deserve a better world than this
had the most fun performing this year so far last week @conduit_fl thanks to @itsrockyblack and a lineup of so many other incredible people. i’ve been dealing with a lot recently and needed this more than i can say; it really felt rejuvenating and reminded me how much love i feel in the dark with you all. it was such a fucking party, and i can’t wait for the next one. thank you so much to everyone who came, you rule 💚

friendly reminder that i’ll be back at @willspub running another goth night on march 23rd (next monday)!!! come dance/scream/get bubbles shot in your face by me. i almost broke my leg at my most recent show, so come see what antics happen next. if you don’t show up i will be sad and cry about it for years and years until the sun explodes, and that would be really annoying for everyone to deal with. for just 15 dollars you can keep that from being your fault. maybe i’m exaggerating but i mean it when i say that it will be an awesome time and we are all going to have so much fun, i hope to dance with you soon. see you there 😊
april 10th!!! los angeles-based @yukigloom returns to orlando in the lead-up to her new album to play a show with myself, @alienobserverr , @kaijubride and @fisherpriceguillotine at the lovely @stardustie . from electropunk to darkwave and a wide range between, this’ll be a killer night of independent queer art and rhythm. if you don’t feel like dancing at some point during this, there’s something wrong with you. i had a ton of fun opening for yuki last year and have been looking forward to this for months, don’t miss out.
