Hele det visuelle feltet på møte med KUD i det nye regjeringskvartalet for å diskutere vårt felles innspill til Statsbudsjettet 2027. Etter at FFF i samarbeid med NBK, NK og SDS leverte samlet innspill til Statsbudsjett 2027 tidligere i vinter, har vi hatt møter på Stortinget med de fleste politiske partiene, hvor vi har gått gjennom innspillet og forklart hvorfor utstillingsøkonomien og utstillingshonorar er en så viktig sak for alle visuelle kunstnere i Norge. SOLO EXHIBITION EcoNarratives of a Trembling Earth 📅 January 24th - March 14th 2026 📍Galeria Presença Address: Rua Miguel Bombarda 570, Porto Opening times: Tuesday to Saturday, 3-7pm For inquiries: [email protected] The exhibition examines the relationship between nature and geometric abstraction to investigate how colour, fragmentation, and materiality can translate ecological instability. The works present landscapes as ‘silent witnesses’ of extractive exploitation, and redefine monumentality as modular, fragmented, and mutable. The exhibition is grounded in the abandoned São Domingos copper mine, Portugal (1859-1965) to examine how landscapes carry traces of industrial exploitation and ecological transformation. It is structured across three temporal moments (past, present & future) to reflect on the legacies of these industrial activities, and its impact on the environment, while proposing speculative futures. 📸 Betina Juglair @betina.juglair

Vi ser isfjellet i horisonten og støtter helhjertet rådet for @kunstnerneshus og deres Opprop for Kunstnernes Hus, slik at ikke bygningen forfaller totalt. Foto av rådet som gjør en formidabel jobb for kunstfeltet, for de ansatte og for alle oss som er så heldige å få arrangere ting på huset. Kunstnernes Hus mottok 40 millioner av @sparebankstiftelsendnb til sårt trengt renovering forutsatt at Staten bidrar med 62 millioner av øvrig finansiering. I Statsbudsjettet for 2026 er ikke Kunstnernes Hus inkludert og midlene kan derfor utebli. Kunstnernes Hus er landets største kunstnerstyrte kunstinstitusjon og et av våre viktigste og kjæreste kulturbygg. Det burde være en selvfølge at man støtter eksisterende historiske bygg før det bygges nytt. FFF var på deputasjon i dag! Styreleder i FFF Thale Blix Fastvold og daglig leder Kjersti Solberg Monsen her sammen med Fotogalleriets styreleder Terje Abusdal. Vi håper Oslo Kommune fortsetter å anerkjenne vårt solide og kvalitative arbeid gjennom et halvt århundre i byen, og at politikerne i større grad kan tilgodese organisasjoner som FFF og Fotogalleriet med mer økonomisk støtte for å bedre betingelser for det arbeid vi gjør, og som represententanter for det profesjonelle kamerabaserte kunstmiljøet i Oslo.

До 9 ноября в Большом зале открыта выставка «ЭкоАрт»! Проект посвящен сети взаимодействий между человеческими и нечеловеческими агентами в природном мире. Двадцать восемь современных художников из шести стран — России, Германии, Франции, Норвегии, Нидерландов и Швейцарии — представят произведения в различных медиа, от живописи до интерактивных инсталляций. Зрителей приглашают выйти за пределы привычной антропоцентричной перспективы и увидеть мир глазами других существ. В фокусе внимания — взаимоотношения между человеком, растениями, животными и насекомыми, их социальный и творческий потенциал, жизнь нечеловеческих агентов в городской среде и мифологическом пространстве. Большая часть произведений была создана в рамках виртуальной резиденции, где художники обменивались идеями и сотрудничали с учеными из разных областей. Авторы произведений выбрали самые разные подходы к работе с исследованиями и данными: от научных и инженерных методов до философских размышлений и духовных практик. Экспозиция затрагивает несколько тем из области взаимоотношений людей с представителями растительного и животного мира, а также ставит задачу обратить внимание на то, что объединяет человека и нечеловеческих агентов: почву как основу жизни, связь с себе (не)подобными, пересечение во времени и пространстве. Этот проект — коллекция представлений о месте человека в глобальной экосистеме, о воссоединении с природой и о сценариях будущего. I’m still in the clouds (as we say in Iceland) over the opening last Saturday of our exhibition ‘technoanimism’, where me and @jonassawthis are presented by @skogartspace at @fotofestival_oslonegativ . Around 3000 people showed up to the opening festival weekend, which is a new record! 👊🏻 Thousand thanks go to everyone who showed up to our exhibition. My mouth still hurts after responding to (and photographing) all your beautiful smiling faces.❤️‍🔥 We worked very hard for two weeks putting it all together and then we painted the town red, as we say in Iceland. Big thanks go to @brian_norg and @kimgabrielli at Skog who have been amazing and @dossantos0708 and the Skog staff. Also Andreas @aflotra needs a shout out for always being ready to lend us a helping hand, and @n.sorlie , @ove.kvavik , @palotnes , @ingriosterholt , @cecilieoien2022 and the rest of the @preusmuseum and festival staff for making this fantastic festival possible. And of course my girlfriend @annanaerum for surviving these two weeks in my absence.. 😅🙏💙🙏 It’s not too late to see our show. The festival is open this weekend and the next from 11-18. I’ll be there again on Saturday with one to three cameras. 📸 PS. I’m also taking part in two other exhibitions during this festival. I’m showing some portraits of @rasmusjiang at @vaslisouza ‘s crazy showroom and also in the special Rasmus issue of @ucsscandinavia , and then a mysterious photo of swan with @stiftelsen.bjorka at our group exhibition 'Convergence' curated by Greg Hobson. See if you can find it as well! 🦢 PPS. I’m also showing 70-110 portraits taken on polaroids of festival guests in the stairs down to the basement exhibitions, in the entrance of the festival. My goal is to complete the wall before the end of the festival. And if we meet, you might very well end up there as well! 🎞️

Today 21/9 is the last day of the @helsinkibiennial and the possibility to see our works Zostera Marina’s Song of Increase at @hamhelsinki and @vallisaari.fi in its current form 🌟 We are excited to announce the acquisition of the installations by @hamhelsinki and are immensely grateful that this song of increase will remain near the Baltic Sea and work its magic for the common eelgrass in years to come 🌾💫 We want to thank the amazing team at @hamhelsinki for supporting us in the journey of realizing this ambitious project 🌟 Thank you @kati.t.kivinen and @blanca_dela_torre for inviting us and believing in our visions 🌟 Thanks to everyone at @johnnurmisensaatio for your enthusiasm and funding support 🌟 and @tvarminnezoologicalstation for revealing your research and guiding us under water 🌟 And @oca_norway and @finnokultur for funding grants 🌟 Thank you @lasismiglass and @klart_glass for glass expertise 🌟 and Phillip Nespital for sound editing /mixing and @nataliese for our performance costumes 💃 And last but not least🌟 Thank you Zostera Marina goddess of eelgrass for revealing your form and sharing your enthusiasm for the health, wellbeing and increasing growth of the Baltic Sea 🌾💫🌾
