Amateur mode is over. We’re entering a new level of the game. Goal is to transform from an average human into the best possible athlete in two months.
On December 15th, I’ll run a full marathon with my brother
@alvaronunez during his Marathon Monday.
No crowd. No applause. No competition. Just raw, honest work.
That gives me exactly two months to prepare and not die doing it.
I’ve been in “amateur” prep for almost a month, cutting corners on training, recovery, and commitment. I worked hard but ignored balance and strategy. It worked… until it didn’t.
A week ago, I collapsed. Full-body inflammation, fever, and every airways issue possible.
Lesson: I can push through anything, but there’s always a price. I don’t want to break my body. I want to make it stronger. At every level, this game is about one thing: balance.
So now it’s game time for real.
Starting today I’m on a protocol: two workouts a day (weights AM, running PM), plus strict recovery and optimization to handle the load.
I’m not a runner so I’m rebuilding everything in my life to make this happen.
