Last week was all about helping creatives win. That’s why we brought in three local experts to teach at our marketing & sales workshop. To help creatives break the feast-or-famine cycle and turn their passion into sustainable income. Swipe through for the highlights. ➡️ Huge shoutout to all the creators, visionaries, and business owners who filled the room. We’re proud of you for taking the time to do the work and invest in your future success. Investing in your business is rarely glamorous, but it’s how you build something that lasts. Thank you to @kinectedco for allowing us to use the training room. We love being a part of the Kinected community. And thank you to our incredible speakers @jonathanmalm @hey.there.digital and @aj_from_uxd for sharing your expertise with our community. We had so many people tell us how good it was! Our hearts are full. 💕

You didn’t turn your passion into a business just to spend all your time worrying about where the next project is coming from. You took the leap to create on your own terms. But somewhere along the way, the stress of finding the next gig while trying to get paid for the last one started taking the joy out of the work. Most of us have been stuck in the “Feast or Famine” trap. One month you’re busy and feel great (the Feast). The next month, the phone doesn’t ring and you start to panic (the Famine). The problem isn’t your talent. You just need a better plan. On April 23, we’re hosting a workshop to show you how to find a steady stream of clients who want to pay you for your work. No “corporate” talk—just three experts who have been where you are, showing you the ropes. The Lineup: ✨ Jonathan Malm: Turning social views into an audience. ✨ Malachi Hey: Finding new clients beyond your inner circle. ✨ AJ Rose: Pricing for value and closing the deal. Tickets start at just $10. Pro-Tip: Grab a VIP ticket for $47 (Save $50) to walk away with 4 hours of free studio time at Creativekind, a Freelancer Sales & Marketing Plan, and a Sales Brand Script. 📍 Kinected Coworking 🗓️ April 23 | 6 PM 🎟️ Link in bio to grab your seat.

Creativekind wouldn’t be here—walls and all—without this human. 🛠️✨ Today we’re featuring a true cornerstone of our community and one of our Founding Members, Gabriel Garcia (@vibesbygabe ). Gabe has been instrumental in getting Creativekind off the ground from day one. He was right there helping us build this space (literally!) and the first one to fill it with life by hosting SA Creatives events here. Gabe is a true visionary for the San Antonio creative scene. He wears many hats: he’s the founder of Summit Creative Group (@summitcreativegroup ), a photography powerhouse (@the.visioneer.photog ), and the heart behind SA Creatives (@sa.creatives ). He is the living embodiment of our belief that connected creatives thrive. He doesn’t just create good work; he creates space for other people to belong and succeed. 🙌
We are so honored to have his grit, leadership, and creative energy as part of the foundation of Creativekind.
Do yourself a favor and get inspired by his work @summitcreativegroup and @the.visioneer.photog , join the @sa.creatives movement, and follow his journey at @vibesbygabe .

Hey, creative. Does this sound familiar? One month, you’re fully booked and the cash is flowing. The next, nothing. Crickets. It’s the dreaded feast-or-famine cycle. For most independent creatives, it feels like an unavoidable part of the job. But here’s the truth: Being a talented artist shouldn’t mean living in constant financial uncertainty. The gap isn’t your talent. It’s your sales systems. On April 23, we’re hosting a workshop at Kinected Coworking in San Antonio designed specifically to bridge that gap. We’re calling it Get Clients, Make Money, and we’re skipping the “hustle” fluff to focus on the practical mechanics of a sustainable business. Whether you’re a photographer, graphic designer, videographer, writer, or any creative building a business, we’re going to help you answer: • How do I find quality leads when the referrals dry up? • How do I build a system that keeps my pipeline full year-round? • How do I pitch my value with confidence and stop “winging it”? This is about building a business that actually supports your talent instead of exhausting it. Join a community of San Antonio creatives who are ready to stop the guesswork: 🗓️ April 23 | 6:00 PM 📍 Kinected Coworking | 10401 W I-10 🎟️ $47 (Free for Creativekind members) Click the link in our bio to grab your seat. Let’s end the cycle together.

The Creativekind community has been feeling a whole lot more vibrant lately. 🦋 It’s long overdue that we officially introduce one of our newest Residents, Melissa Barnes (@melissa_barnes_3 )! Although, if you’ve been in the studio at all this past month, you already know exactly who she is.
Melissa has quietly (and very accurately) claimed the title of our resident “Atmosphere Artisan.” Whether it’s a group puzzle on the table, a collaborative sketchbook, or a well-timed game, she has a gift for turning a workspace into a community. Honestly, we’re not sure how we functioned without her before!
In her professional life, Melissa is a freelance Curriculum Designer — which means she designs the invisible structures that help people learn, engage, and grow. We love that she brings that same intentionality to our community. She is the perfect example of what we believe here: that connected creatives thrive.
We are so honored to have her heart, her hospitality, and her strategic mind in the mix. Welcome home, Melissa (even though you’ve already made it feel like home for the rest of us).
If you’ve enjoyed a puzzle or a sketch session lately, drop a “Thank You” or a “Welcome” in the comments. 👇
