From launch to momentum 🎬
A couple of weeks ago, we officially launched the Creative Hub Ethiopia Filmmaking Academy in Addis Ababa - a major step toward strengthening Ethiopia’s film and audiovisual industry.
This week, that vision continued in motion.
Creativity and ideas are coming to life as our trainees engage in hands-on sessions, exploring the art of storytelling, visual language, and the full filmmaking process. What started as a shared commitment is now unfolding in practice - shaping a new generation of Ethiopian storytellers.
Implemented with the support of key partners including UNIDO, AICS, ANICA Academy, and the Ministry of Labor and Skills, the program continues to empower emerging filmmakers through practical training and collaboration.

The Fashion Entrepreneurship Lab is a 4-part programme supporting emerging Ethiopian designers to turn creative ideas into structured, market-ready fashion businesses.
We are now opening a limited number of spaces for the Jewellery Design track.
This track supports jewellery designers to develop:
- A clear brand identity and positioning
- A focused jewellery collection
- Product development aligned with materials, technique, and market needs
- Pricing, production, and merchandising basics
- A practical pathway to market entry
Led by Giorgia Robatto (Dodo - Kering Group), jewellery designer with experience developing custom-made pieces for global artists including Rihanna and Lady Gaga, as well as full jewellery line collections.
