Meet another Mindwell designer Alyssa Urquiza:
“My idea going into this project was to play on the concept of what medicine and vitamins do for the body and to relate that to the effects of public broadcasting. In my designs, I used different colors, gradients, and shapes to create movement and for it to reflect the calmness, focus, and thoughtful engagement that occurs when someone tunes into a program on NPR or PBS. My goal was to visually represent these programs as mental nourishment and for it to be a supplement that the viewer can watch/take daily for insightful knowledge.”

“Graduation was a substantial time in my life because it showed me how far I had come with my education. I have overcome such hardship in my life while also consistently pursuing my education, and now I had two degrees because of that consistency. I hope to channel that consistency and determination in whatever job or challenge that comes my way.
My partner and I have been working on building a clothing-reselling business since the end of November 2025 and apart of that project included designing the brand name and logos to go along with the business model. Our business name is called “Attridge Clothing Company”. We chose this name simply because it’s the street we live on! Here are some logos designs that are meant to be used in different formats based on the UI of each sellers app such as a eBay, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, etc. ”

Todays Mindwell designer is Alexa Urquiza
My primary goal for this project was to design products that are practical, accessible, and visually engaging, with context woven into each concept. I approached the design phase by exploring a range of visual styles to bring different aspects to life. The first design is clean and minimal, keeping things simple and direct without overwhelming the viewer. For the second design, I embraced bold colors and dynamic shapes to create something playful and eye-catching. The third design brings the two approaches together, striking a balance between practicality and vibrant expression.This project allowed me to experiment with versatile design all while staying aligned with the overall project goal.
