🎸 We got Shivers! So incredible to have the one and only @teddysphotos visit a @createmusicuk project at Fairlight Primary School in Brighton today! 🎤 Ed met some of the brilliant students learning everything from drums to ukuleles and then performed a short set for the pupils and their amazing teachers. 🎶 Create Music is part of Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival and provides inclusive music education and performance opportunities for children, young people and adults across Brighton & Hove and beyond. Encouraging a passion for music supports our vision for a future where lives are forever transformed by the power of music - no-one understands that better than Ed Sheeran! 💚 Before he left, Ed also donated a bunch of guitars to the school and the Create Music team, to help us encourage other young people on their musical journey. ✨️ Thank you Ed and team – you really made this day Perfect! 📸 @photosbychloeh #EdSheeran #Brighton #MusicCourse #YoungMusician

Our next Sounds Like Us visual artist is Esmé 🎨 Currently based in Shoreham By Sea, Esmé Clarke is an acrylic painter who's drawn to embracing an unconventional vibrant colour palette within her deeply emotive portraiture. Captivated by the nostalgic moments and hidden narratives amongst vintage photography, both personal and found, she hopes to renew their fleeting memories, transforming them into timeless pieces for her viewers to universally resonate with no matter their generation. Approaching this exciting opportunity, Esmé cannot wait to share her artistic vision whilst celebrating the 60th edition of Brighton Festival! @esmeclarke.art Esmé is one of our wonderful visual artists, filling the space with their work and creative expression at Brighton Dome's Studio Theatre at @brightonfestival . See the link in our bio for more info about the event.
