Yesterday, Jay and I had our first night away from our babies. My parents and the girls were very excited to have a sleepover. I was a bit nervous but we knew it was for a very good reason.
My beautiful friend, Chantel, got married yesterday to her soulmate aka “boop” at their property in Connecticut. We met 16 years ago working at the Rockefeller Center Coach. Stayed friends through the years and have supported each other through life’s hardships and blessings. Yesterday, to witness the life she has built and the love she created with Dan filled my heart to the brim. Every single person that was present celebrated and cheered on the unbreakable bond they created.
It’s true what they say about life long friendship, it’s not about the time or distance that separates you both. From her life in fashion and mine in culinary, our careers paths could not be been further apart but we always made the time to stay in touch. It’s all about the heart, love and wanting each other to live our lives to the fullest. I was lucky enough to see that for my dear friend yesterday.
Thank you
@cchantelly &
@createfearlessly for having Jay and I at your home yesterday for one of life’s most precious moments. Congratulations newlyweds! Wishing you a lifetime of beautiful gardens, fulfilling home projects and good meals! 💗
