Not content with just being in our cast for Weight(less) this year,
@createdbysolomon will also be Mimbre’s second ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR! We are beyond thrilled to deepen our working relationship with Rebecca and can’t wait to see what she brings to Mimbre’s work.
In additon to her performing credits, since 2021 Rebecca has been forging her career as a director. First with her semi-autobiographical show Second-Hand Child (2021), then as a director in Sheffield's 2023 Bank Cohort. She has been an assistant director for We Could All Be Perfect (2023), Is Dat U Yh? (2024) and By Their Fruits (2024) for which she was nominated for best choreography at the Off West End Awards. She has gone on to be Associate Director/Circus Director of the UK premier Andre Campra’s Opera, Le Carneval de Venise (2025), staged by Vache Baroque.
She is currently Associate Director at Mimbre and Associate Artist at
