I am humbled and honoured to tell you about my role as part of ‘The Elocution of Benjamin Franklin’ @griffintheatre @belvoirst especially to share that THIS SATURDAY 7th March we have a FREE EVENT featuring a panel and gathering with community leaders from The 78ers, Pride History Group, Mature Age Gays and the Seahorse Society of NSW. We’d love to see you there!! Register at the Griffin website, find it in the What’s On menu. It is so important that roles and initiatives like these become more common, to help keep theatre inclusive and accessible, welcoming audiences old and new. I’m so thankful to the entire Griffin team, and to @leilaadelaideenright @cassievehamilton for connecting these dots so we can provide an experience that is caring and responsible whilst being bold and complex. We hope to see you there!! if you have any questions or would like to access the discounted ticket price for community, please reach out to me via message or contact the Griffin Box Office. Thank you!!

twenty twenty five. what a year. my goal was to do more intimacy work and to collaborate with more mainstage companies. neither goal was achieved this year and i think it’s important to share that, but nothing can take away from what i have achieved: more speaking and consent-based practice education, really leaning into my passion and purpose. industry leadership and setting my direction for the future. another major feature of this year is getting to put the full stop on my legacy as part of @neighbours as it wraps up this week. i was thrilled to do some work on the final episode, and want to express my love for those who were part of my journey in Erinsborough. I look on those two years so fondly and I’m so proud of what we created for these believed characters. the first condom, authentic reflections of queerness, iconic outback bathtub bare butt, first kisses and many happy ever afters. I’m so blessed to be able to say I have a history, a body of work and a reputation in this field. twenty twenty six will be about building the brand, fleshing out my craft even more and working on projects I’m passionate about: indie stuff, queer stuff, trailblazer stuff.

ok it’s time for a chat about Intimacy Coordinators, the comments made by Mikey Madison and how Blake Lively’s suit is going to be a landmark for the growth of prevention and intervention measures for psychological and s*x**l safety. Full video on @createconsent on the clock app.

scroll to see dreams come true. about seven years ago, I was on a train, on the phone to my father, going into city loop tunnel. He said “are you sure you wanna do this? This is already your past, do you want to make it your future? This is already your life, are you sure you want to make it your job?”. seven years ago, the word ‘consent’ was considered a very dirty word in theatre and film, and I was absolutely considered a blasphemer for using it. Playing the long game, sticking to my guns & standing up for what I know will make these workplaces safer for my friends and colleagues, it still amazes me to see the change in this industry - all the phenomenal projects I’ve been welcomed into as part of the team. The above is just a selection. Workshops & developments with @malthousetheatre , working with @jmcacademy students in the classroom and on their short films, all the amazing conversations I’ve had, and of course the esteemed invite to @screenaustralia Advanced Intimacy Workshop alongside my contemporaries, trailblazers the lot of them @michalabanas @amycater_intimacycoordinator @morey.eve @ruthnataliefallon I think, as always in these moments, of the people who lifted me into position and believed in the work long before any major company or box office draw would give me the time of day. @alexandergwright who got me my first job with @immersiveeverywhere x @dino__dimitriadis who plucked me out of obscurity (and retirement) and has been one of my biggest advocates ever since from @darlinghursttheatreco right through to @hedwigaus x @kink_charles_iii who has also championed me endlessly as a peer and now friend x @leilaadelaideenright you have shown me such treasured hospitality, inspiration and encouragement I couldn’t be as successful as I am without you and women like you at my side x @cessalee you are the true muscle behind everything I’ve been able to lift this year, I’m so beyond grateful to you for seeing me and leading me into the fray of screen work and my big break at @neighbours x Thank you all for making this year so unbelievable. I hope I’ve made you proud, and proven you were right to believe in me. You are my kin. B
