Fantastic turn our for our first @lucan_creativeartsnetwork Development Workshop Café for investigating what Lucan wants for their creative community. We began by drawing out our creative visions for Lucan including barriers to the arts and ways to overcome these in the area. Through this mapping exercise we all realised just how large Lucan is, it's like a small city! We are piecing together this research and will respond in due course with our suggestions and plans. Please join us if you are a performer, writer, artist, actor, comedian, musician in Lucan. Help us voice your needs for the area. Thank you

Art and identity will always be important to me, I'll always love art, (all forms) and art will always be my hero. pareidolia is one term that makes me feel like art isn't just pencil meeting paper or paint meeting canvas but can also be connection to the world within and to my immediate environment(my ambience); I can say I am on a journey of truly connecting to dublin because of this, art gives me a place in this world and seeing some of these street arts, graffiti and Shoefiti gives me a sense of belonging(despite). I get to see the personality of the city, the raw unfiltered look at it's collective identity and history. It makes the soul of the city visible, turning grey infrastructure into shared memories, shared struggles and shared triumphs, it breathe life into neglected areas, transforming ordinary city walks into masterpieces that invites passersby to stop and feel the city's pulse. Shaping its urban identity. Imperfect like every other city but unique in it's own way, Cold, Kind and Warm at the same time. Dubh Linn

I’m incredibly excited and honoured to be selected as an Art Facilitator for Kenmare Art Festival ✨ I’ll be leading Layers & Landscape: Exploring Place Through Mixed Media — a creative journey through texture, memory, colour, and connection to place. Together we will explore landscapes not only as locations, but as emotions, stories, and personal experiences. Kenmare has such a beautiful artistic energy, and I can’t wait to create, share, and connect with everyone there. You are more than welcome to join me for this special workshop and become part of this inspiring experience 💫 #KenmareArtFestival #MixedMediaArt #ArtWorkshop #CreativeJourney #IrishArt LandscapeArt WomenInArt ArtFacilitator ContemporaryArt @millcovegallery @artscouncilireland @visualartistsireland @cultureireland @dccireland @createcollaborativearts @creativeireland /workshops-2026/p/karolina-di-duca

Delicious to finally meet Áine who has been an invaluable anchor and support in my collaborative practice these last years! Having only ever met online we named it 'the day we hugged 7 times!!' 😄🤗 Thanks to Tatiana and all the create team for inviting me to speak about my work and the wonderful NCAD students from the Masters in Art and Social Action for your keen listening and engagement! ✨️🌳🌀🙌 @createcollaborativearts @ncad_dublin

Better late than never! Our zine: “Ireland’s Lottery of Care”
A combination of our research, art and workshop processes. We highlight our suggested improvements in this zine, bringing to light what we learned over two years of research. Please feel free to take inspiration from this zine and bring the work further for a better healthcare system, whether that’s through art, advocacy or your own studies.

The full version is available via this link:

There’s a change coming, as we fight for change, we need to build a stronger, bigger community centred on connectedness to the reality of our struggles. Housing action Now (HAN) , a group of artists, community workers, residents and activists brought one of our animals from our caravanette of revolt to the Dcc rent hike protest to engage and bring a new energy to the protest. This affordability crisis, its rent hikes and everything around living standards is Unbeeeeeaaaarabbble and hoooow greeedy of the government/private business #dublin #ireland #protest #left

WE MOVE FROM L❤️VE On March 28th, Tobi Omoteso—artist, mentor, and leader—was the victim of a violent, life-altering attack. We stand in solidarity with Tobi and with all those targeted by racism. We will not tolerate racism or violence in any form. Discrimination has no place in our communities. Our arts sector is strongest because of its diversity—and we are committed to protecting it. The street dance community came together this weekend to support Tobi, hosting workshops in aid of the We Move From Love fundraiser for his recovery. More events and ways to support will be announced in the coming weeks. If you weren’t able to attend, please consider supporting Tobi directly via the GoFundMe link in his bio @tobiomoteso , helping cover medical and living costs as he adjusts to life with sight loss. #WeMoveFromLove #WeMoveTogether
