It's been a minute since we've showcased art on our beautiful canvas. This latest one is a bit of a mystery but a personal favourite. It is stretched fabric (canvas?) but there is no artist or material info with it. Perhaps an Indigenous piece? Check it out on the 3rd Floor of the Seton Academic building! @msvu_halifax

Highlighting this STEM book in the CRC this February for Nova Scotia's African Heritage Month. Written by Director of Education Dr. Eddia Solas and illustrated by B.Ed. student Leena Elkhateeb. Check out our French and English copies in the CRC! "Shalyn Williams grew up in a close-knit African Nova Scotian community, dreaming of building things. In this inspiring biography, follow Shalyn’s journey from a curious young girl tinkering with gadgets to becoming one of the first female engineers of African Nova Scotian heritage. Through hard work, determination, and a love of learning, Shalyn broke barriers and paved the way for future generations of young female engineers." @msvu_halifax
