Just a little self encouragement as I make this post and share a little something from me:
Today I step into a new decade!
It feels strange how badly we want to grow up when we’re young… and then one day adulthood arrives with its weight, its responsibilities, and especially as a woman, the fear of change and aging and so much more. There’s a moment when it hits you it’s truly indescribable; the body, the reflection in your mirror, the feeling is sudden like time travels faster than a speed of light. And you think, oh… this is what it’s like. And year after year days go faster, hours turn in to a blink of an eye!
But with this time somehow every year feels better, I learn to grow to be patient and feel more love, not looking for acceptance, but just finding the deeper understanding of life and my true purpose and loving myself. It’s not easy, either.
I’m grateful. Grateful for my mom, for my dad, for the life they gave me and the foundation I stand on. I wouldn’t be here without them! Shout out to my amazing friends and students too, you all are incredible and for the people who were my lessons in this life.
As this new decade begins, I want to start 2026 with this phrase: Memento vivere - remember to live.
To remember where I come from, but not get stuck there.
To stay present. To choose now. Because there is no time like this one.
