There’s something timeless about a bed made slowly, by hand, from quality materials. We’re proud to introduce the Pediment Bed — our collaboration with @RoselandUSA , handcrafted in the USA from solid wood and finished with traditional linseed oil to bring out the natural warmth and beauty of the grain. Inspired by the symmetry and architectural details of 18th-century American homes, each piece feels rooted in history while designed for modern living. Built to last for generations, the Pediment Bed is also part of something larger: 4% of every purchase supports Historic Trades at Colonial Williamsburg, helping preserve the craftsmanship, skills, and traditions that continue to inspire our work today. Shop the Pediment Bed at the link in bio.

In collaboration with @sunhousecraft Inspired by Colonial Williamsburg, our collaboration carries craft forward. A round, organic hearth broom, a hooked peg rail, and the launch of a white oak basket apprenticeship show how crafting traditions can be carried forward by hand. Both new and timeless, these pieces bring traditional craft into our homes today.

Coffee—the drink of rebels. During the Revolutionary era, patriots chose coffee over tea as a stand against the Crown’s taxation. Coffeehouses quickly became hubs for sharing news, debating ideas, and quietly planning rebellion. So on a snowy day, if you’re near Yorktown, VA, stop into @mobjackbaycoffee  Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters—a cozy spot where history and great coffee meet. Shop link in bio. Stay warm out there! #ColonialWilliamsburg #americanrevolution #foundingfathers #artisinalcoffeeshop #snowday

Thankful for the hands that grow, make, cook, and gather. At Colonial Williamsburg, every meal begins long before the table, rooted in saved seeds, tended fields, and heritage skills kept alive. Grateful for the community that carries us forward.

There’s something mysterious about the way a winder staircase curves out of sight. Hand-built to fit the tight corners of 18th-century homes, each tread is slightly different, each curve intentional. A reminder that good design makes utility graceful, and that craftsmanship and creativity often thrive within constraint.
