All our facilitators are paid according to @artistsunionengland rates as we value artistic and craft work. As a not-for-profit we mainly function through grant funding, donations, collaborations and commissions. We believe in the power of collaboration and invite like-minded organisations and individuals to join forces with us: whether through sponsorships or commissions, we can create meaningful projects that align with our shared values and amplify our social impact 🌎
We welcome inquiries and collaborations, so please reach out to us directly via email at [email protected] after reading our slides, and for the people at the back: please, don’t expect us to work for free! We don’t 🫶

We are so lucky with craft with you… everywhere! As well as our Knit Clubs in Brixton, in the past year we have run sessions all across London including our incredible Big Cathedral Knit events (which is back for round 5 in August, incase you missed it!!) 🫶
Plus, with the launch of Blankets for the World Craft Forward’s impact really is everywhere, with our amazing Volunteer Ambassadors working hard to coordinate projects in their local area 🥰

We have partnered up again this year with a researcher from the MA Creative Health at @ucl for a study on knitting and emotional regulation 🧶
If you’re coming to our next workshops you’ll have a chance to get involved directly, and if you couldn’t grab a ticket in time email us and get involved!
This project is not only going to be Claudia’s dissertation, but it will also be part of our 2026 impact report, so we’ll be able to share the results far and wide 🫶

Extra yarn, needles and hooks will be available during the evening: we will make a start on a simple (but stunning) postbox topper made out of small patches and shapes that I will be crocheting all together. I will then install the postbox topper when finished on our nearest postbox for everyone to admire 🫶
