Been hard at work with our nose to the…. What’s the mastering equivalent of a grindstone? Warm tube? Knobs? I don’t really want to type out the words “nose to the knob” but, what’s done is done.
Playing catch-up with this lil may roundup of life lately. LOTS of mastering, peppered with some tastes of spring. Studio shots by @leighrighton , studio made possible with the support of so many friends and incredible clients and the team at @creativebcs

Little love post for one of my absolute fav pieces around the studio. The Knif Etip, the precursor to the better known Soma eq, as far as I know there are only 4 of these around and we’re lucky enough to own this serial “Numero Uno” when this thing works for a track it WORKS, big transformers, weird tubes and hand wound inductors, it’s everything I want in an eq and the perfect counterpart to our Knif Eksa. #mastering #eq #apostlesofknif #studio
Creatures of CPS, this lil bud (a gift from the eternally wise @doctorboss ) has presided over nearly every master done at this and the old studio. I love them.
