A prestigious New York play by the burgeoning creative duo of playwright Sarah Motz and director Melissa Stone comes to debut in its written location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Three of the hopeful auditioners are a group of recent theater school grads, Dean, Mike, and Noah. Their tight-knit friendship complicates as they manage their career plans and anticipate the results of the big audition.
The Auditioneers is the first full length play I’ve ever written and I’m very excited to be staging it in full at the Tank!! Will be acting in it along with some of my best buddies @davislennonclark and @zach.speigel . The play will be directed by the very talented @kvaish . Trailer for THE DOOR TO DOOR DOOR SALESMAN, an upcoming short film I wrote and directed. A “character documentary” about a lowly old Brooklyn door salesman named Tom Pacuchio (played by the hilarious and talented @amandaadamsmusic ) as he struggles to make a sale. Film also features the insane comedic chops of @zach.speigel and @judgeboothby bringing to life some of the other weird eccentric characters in Tom’s life.
We did this thing completely on iPhone (with some GoPro included) and I’m super stoked to share it w you all. Huge props to @oliviavondrathenruiz for being a VITAL one woman film and costume crew. And @haibss preemptively for stepping in this Friday for the finale. The film will feature scoring too by none other than @nick_prato 🤘🤘

Hard to put into words how grateful I am for these people. Couldn’t imagine realizing this script without this cast and crew. So privileged to have such insanely talented artists contributing to this silly little thing I wrote.

I didn’t work nearly as much as I would’ve liked to in 2025, but it was still an insanely productive year. These six plays are ones I worked on in classes that really challenged me in many different ways. I learned and grew a ton as an actor. Hard to describe what a huge help HB Studio has been with training and reaffirming my ambition for acting and reminding me of the reasons it still grabs me so strongly.
Acting uncovers an unplanned understanding and unspoken agreement that occurs between us. Things get in the way and keep us at arm’s length, but we find a way to break through and we do it. You don’t “plan” the way you act, you don’t force it. You just connect. I find it so beautiful and motivating.
I’m posting this to remind myself and you all that I’m continuing to push, and that I’m where I’m supposed to be doing what I’m supposed to do. I will make a career in this work that moves me so much, in whatever form that may be. Very grateful to all my teachers and fellow actors and writers and directors.
I apologize for the corniness but this is the thing that I AM really serious about.
