Sheep, goats, and pigs from the @huntleycollegeofagriculture were transported to the LA County Fair this morning, where they’ll be part of the animal displays at the Big Red Barn from May 7- May 31.

This is a family-friendly, open-to-the-public event—everyone is welcome! Feel free to bring your family, friends, and anyone interested in plants, gardening, and hands-on learning.
We’ll have a variety of interactive activities and booths throughout the morning, including:
🌼 Free California Poppies to take home, with guidance on how to transplant and care for them
🪴 Paint-your-own pot + plant your own native seeds to take home
🌿 Seed bomb making
🎨 Bracelet-making station
📖 Coloring station featuring materials created by Native Plants class students
🧩 Games like a scavenger hunt and crossword puzzles
Visitors are also invited to:

Spring has come, and that means animal babies on our farm!
In the last few weeks, we've had more than a dozen lambs, seven piglets, and five calves born, with more in the way!
You can see the lambs, piglets and calves at the LA County Fair May 7-31. We'll have more animal babies born during the fair!
