Computer science students from Brianna Posadas' and Wendy Shi's User Interface Design and Programming courses showcased their work today. Guests saw creativity and innovation in action with apps that can connect students for study sessions, ride sharing, or making travel plans. There were also digital flash cards and an online lost and found. #cpp_science

CPP students learned how Native Americans prepared and used the fibers of California native Yucca (Hesperoyucca whipplei) Samantha MJ Yang showed attendees examples of shoes and rope made from the plant fibers. Thanks @biotrekcpp for putting together this presentation. #cpp_science

Computer Science Students were discussing their work with guests at the AI Fair and Hackathon today. Parnian Shirdast, who is with John Korah's lab shared how AI is helping agriculture select optimum locations for growing. Students from Mohammad Husain's lab shared how they are improving the security of robots and autonomous vehicles. Student clubs such as Google Developers @googlefordevs were also there to talk about all the opportunities CPP student clubs provide. #cpp_science

MaSH (Mathematics and Statistics Help) is open for drop-in math support. MaSH provides academic assistance for students enrolled in 1000- and 2000-level mathematics courses, including the full calculus sequence.
