Hi I’m Coco 👋 Fully aware of the upcoming corniness as I officially introduce myself, but without further ado… Basic get-to-know-me’s: I love clown core (it’s a perennial staple and I’ll fight you on that)
I have an unhealthy dependence on vintage designer clothing
I’m drawn to fashion and objects with historical references or representational significance.
I believe the way we dress should reflect who we are internally as much as externally, while still leaving room for humor and personal interest.
I love tulips—I’m a cheap date lol (happy spring) This space comes from my desire to unload the chaos of the things I see and love, and to share them with people who find meaning in the same kinds of things I do. If you know me, you know how much I value realness, and with that comes transparency. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to reconcile my own reservations about fashion—its frivolousness and the way it can often feel performative—with how deeply I still love it as a form of expression. For a long time, that conflict made me feel embarrassed by how much I cared about it. Fashion is often reduced to superficiality, and sometimes I understand why. But getting dressed is inevitable, and whether intentional or not, clothing communicates before we ever get the chance to. What we choose to wear carries humor, identity, history, insecurity—all the contradictions of being human. That’s what continues to draw me to it. As much as I love creating, my main goal is to make people feel the most like themselves. Getting dressed should feel lighthearted and exciting. I’m here to get you there. Humor is definitely part of my work and presentation—nothing is that serious, and neither is this. If I can bring even a little joy to someone else, I feel like I’ve won. So now that we’re past that—
who wants to see some McQueen fall/winter 2025? (I die for this dress. It feels like a manifesto on dandyism)
