Last week I had a fairly hefty surgery to cut out some cancer and reverse my ostomy. The first part went perfectly and the second almost perfectly, except instead of removing the bag entirely they just moved it over a few inches. A temporary ileostomy while the OG heals. So be it. Through it all, @therealashco took care of me and made sure the docs and nurses stayed on their toes. If there was some sort of day that we agreed on as a society to set aside to celebrate the love of our lives, I would definitely shout her out on that day, but until then—happy Saturday, February 14th, my darling! May you always be the unsalted mash to my plain omelette. ❤️ (Also genuine thanks to the good folks at TGH for their attentive care!)
Happy birthday to this wonderful wife/woman/witch! Allow yourself to be ensnared by her spells and you will be a better person for it. I know I am. Love you OLD RUDE BEAN!
Happy anniversary to wonderful wife and expert co-dog-model, @therealashco . 17 years of adventure, love, and farts. Luckily, 17 years is the “radioactive chemicals” anniversary, because we spent it in the cancer ward. #Romance!
Behold! The face of a man with stage 4 colon cancer! Many who read this might already be aware of my diagnosis, which occurred about a month ago, but for those of you just learning now: surprise! 🕺🏻I am feeling mostly fine and am being well taken care of by the good folks at Mt Sinai. I have also been on the receiving end of just an obscene amount of love and support from family and friends. Perhaps odd to say, what with the cancer in my organs, but I feel very fortunate. And it might take a while, but I plan on being just fine. ❤️
Happy Birthday to the most glorious wife and woman, @therealashco . For four decades the world has been a better place because of her. Please bombard her with the love and adulation she deserves. (Which is a lot). Bombard her I say!
