Time for the NYC Kidney Walk! We walk in honor of little cousin Jaren, who has an ear for music and a love of capybaras, aspires to be a future NBA star or a cool animator, and just celebrated his 2nd Kidneyversary thanks to the lifesaving organ donation he received from his dad, Stephen.
Kidney Disease is rough. We walk for all the kidney kids who battle those rough waters with a smile.
Though Jaren will be on medication for life and will eventually need another transplant, he is stronger and more resilient today than ever thanks to his amazing care team! Many families are not as lucky, so it is imperative that we raise funds to support and bring awareness to this important cause. No donation is too small! After managing kidney disease since birth, on September 25, 2023, little cousin Jaren had life-saving kidney transplant surgery thanks to his father’s generous and selfless donation.
