When we began designing our first collection we dreamed of a room with windows, walls and furniture covered in a single pattern. This dining room is the dream come true! Moon Snake Rhinestone covers the built-in banquette, Roman shades and walls while Bauhausey accents the dining chairs. Bold perfection. šŸ“· @lindseabrown šŸ  @amityworrelco @andreechalaron

It’s been a second since we’ve introduced ourselves, especially with all of the new pattern lovers who have joined our account lately! We’re AndrĆ©e and Stacy, the founders of Counterpart Studio and the counterparts to our artist collaborators. We met in 2012 when our children were in preschool, bonding and deepening our friendship through life’s wild ride. We ended up working together on a project for Stacy’s home, which sealed the deal for a business partnership. Between AndrĆ©e’s expertise in design, honed in the New York fashion and photography worlds, and her successful interior design career, with Stacy’s enthusiasm for design, sense of style, and business roots, we found that our sensibilities align and complement each other. We are both high collaborators who think outside the box. Working with visionary artists, we develop, curate, create, and enable unique, bold, and decadent offerings for the home. A union, in service of unions. If you have any questions about how we got started in the wallpaper and textile industry, how the process works, or any other topics that spark your interest - drop em’ in the comments and we’d be more than happy to answer! #CounterpartStudiosĀ šŸ“·Ā @cathlin.mccullough

Not everything has to match. It just has to make sense. Different patterns, different collaborators, all working together through color and rhythm.

If you’re going to add pattern, this is where to do it. Dreamland in Sand brings texture and depth into a powder bath without taking over. Contained space, maximum impact.

Graphic pattern, with a little attitude. Bauhausey plays with rhythm, repetition, and scale in a way that feels both structured and alive. Offered in seven distinct colorways, this small-scale pattern brings movement and energy without overwhelming a space. Created in collaboration with @eloistudio , it’s the kind of dynamic counterpart that quietly pulls a room together.

Congrats to @a1000xbetter on winning Best Romantic Contemporary in the Sunset Home & Design Awards. This space leans dark with a little rock ’n’ roll edge, and Moon Snake is the perfect backdrop. Still one of our favorite installs.

A little wallpaper love šŸ¤Ž Y’all know how much I love the transformation the right wallpaper can bring to a space! Here we used @counterpart_studios Reishi wallpaper in Desert. It looks like an abstract flower but a closer look reveals šŸ‘ļø @counterpart_studios is female founded & has something for everyone! Photography by @michaelcliffordphotography

We’ve heard a lot of feedback over the years, but this might be our favorite. A voicemail from a customer’s dad who just had to call and say how much he loved the new wallpaper she selected for him.

This collection began as a design question: What if stained glass could live beyond the window? A commission with Lesley Green of @bespokeglass opened the door to something bigger. Two years later, it’s here. Wallpaper that brings light, depth, and movement into the room—no sunlight required.

Maris, installed and right at home. Part of our new collaboration with Bespoke Glass, this flowing botanical composition is built from jewel-toned panes, bringing movement and color with an effortless sense of balance. This is how you let pattern carry a room.
