Twas my mother’s birthday yesterday, and celebrations were heard all round Mayne Island. I love my mother both for bringing me into this world and for a friendship which continues despite the fact I troll her non stop. Happy Birthday @margaret.cornish , enjoy the trip back to Van! #mayneisland #yyc #yvr #birthday

Was invited by @parks.canada to witness the commemoration of John Ware as a person of national historic significance. Having had the opportunity to become familiar with John Ware’s life and his role in early Alberta, it was a fitting tribute to the remarkable person he was. Bar-U was where Mr. Ware first worked in Canada and there, we Canadians now officially recognize his legendary status!
