💷 Money forms part of our everyday lives, but how many of us know how it really works? And how do we fix things when they go wrong? In their new book Money: The Inside Story, Bank of England economists Rupal Patel and Jack Leslie take us behind the scenes at the UK’s central bank to tell us the inside story of money. They explain how money is supposed to work, what happens when it doesn’t, and where it might be going next. They also highlight the role central banks play in the money system, and share insights from deep within the Bank of England. Their book is the follow-up to the international best-seller Can’t We Just Print More Money? Out on 11 June. Pre-order now: Comment one of the words below and we’ll send you the link in your DMs. 📗 ‘book’ for the book webpage 📕 ‘waterstones’ for the shop 📘 ‘amazon’ for the store 📙 ‘apple’ for Apple Books Or find the link in our bio. 🔗

💵 Money is stranger than you think, so, we’ve teamed up with the Bank of England to tell a story most of us rely on, but rarely understand. 💵 💰 Money: The Inside Story takes you behind the scenes of the system that keeps the economy moving. From how money is created to what causes inflation, financial crises, and everything in between. 💰 💸 Written by Rupal Patel and Jack Leslie, two Bank of England economists, this is a surprising, clear-eyed guide to how money actually works—and why it matters now more than ever. 💸 💰Coming 11/06/26, Money: The Inside Story is available to pre-order now. 💰 @penguinukbooks

A few tickets available to celebrate the launch of my new book, The ADHD Sleep Book. It was published last week by Penguin Random House UK, and we’ll be live both in London and live streaming this Thursday 7th May at 21Soho. This book means such a lot to me. Its the first of its kind - I just haven’t been able to understand why that is because sleep issues sit at the absolute core of ADHD. The knock on effect of that breaks my heart everyday in my therapy practice. Sleep and ADHD is something that affects so many people (me included) – whether neurodiverse or not – and I really hope it helps bring more understanding (and support) to something that’s often overlooked. There is a game changing element at the heart of this - you’ll have to come along to find out more! I’d absolutely love to see you there – do come and say hello And if you know someone who might need this, please do share /e/a-psychotherapists-guide-to-adhd-sleep-tickets-1985129782618?utm_source=Venue_speaker&utm_medium=Venue_speaker&utm_campaign=na&utm_content=na Doors open: 7pm Event start time: 7:30pm This is an 18+ event.

You have ADHD and can’t sleep or live with someone who has ADHD and whose sleep is causing mayhem? It doesn’t have to be this way has anyone ever shared why or helped you to understand what is happening? My new book explains why ADHD brains are biologically wired to struggle with sleep – and more importantly, why it is absolutely not your fault. Your career is the biggest decision you’ll ever make. But most make it with terrible information. The new book is the culmination of 15 years trying to fix that. It’ll be published with Penguin May 2026. It’s a ridiculously in-depth guide to finding a fulfilling career that actually makes a difference — updated for the age of AI. The original version helped thousands of people shift into high-impact careers. Now we’re taking it mainstream. Preorders determine shelf space and visibility, so if you’ve ever found our advice useful, this is one of the easiest ways to help us reach more people. Link in bio → 80000hours.org/preorder

Drum roll… I’m so excited (and if I’m honest, a little bit nervous!) to be doing an in-person and live-streamed event with the wonderful Seed Talks to celebrate the launch of my new book, The ADHD Sleep Book.
