Not gonna lie, the first time I tried pokeβ¦ the texture threw me off π
Back in California, the poke spots loaded their bowls with toppings, spicy mayo, crunchy onions, and especially tempura bits. That crunch was what got me over the βraw fishβ fear and slowly turned me into someone who craved poke all the time.
