This guy had charisma and appealed to many in all walks of life. We had a unique connection from Queens Bridge and Far Rockaway. We both had cousins that we were very close to my cousin Bam Benjamin Scott and his cousin Derek Jones were best friends. They died together in a tragic car accident in Far Rockaway that shocked the whole community. I stayed in touch with Spunk and even recently I didn’t realize he will going through health issues. Maybe I overlooked it as something he would get over but unfortunately he retuned to the essence. People mistakenly said he passed away a couple of weeks ago but it wasn’t true and today I wish it wasn’t true. I’m definitely going to rep for my guy. I’m one of a very few that was really in the streets and really into rap. This one hurts this is who I relate to and identify with more than I do rappers because we survived and adjusted and been through the struggles that helped us become motivated to achieve things in life beyond our previous limitations. QB lost a real one Spunk. Legend condolences and love
RIP to my man Knowledge the Far Rockaway legend from Hammels. Your presence in my life from the streets to videos to my first child’s baby shower to ATL Queens Day and beyond has been embraced and appreciated. I’m in disbelief and will miss you bro. I will represent you and Elton always.
Seen the movie. This movie made Michael more relatable and appreciated to me. The man was a beam of light in the physical form using his gift to uplift and inspire. Some artist are talented or skilled he was gifted. We who were there to live those moments witnessed something people will never experience again. The guy who played Joe Jackson did such a good job that I truly dislike Joe Jackson in real life now. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets an Oscar nod. I left the movies feeling lighter. Overall it was a moment to take in and I most likely will go again.
