’So On, And So Forth’
'So On, And So Forth' was created as a sequel to my last work, entitled ‘I Found a New Colour’ which served as a metaphor for the people we’ve lost, whose impact remains within us. This new piece, however, exists as a meditation on how movement lingers in absence, how the body holds onto what disappears; a dance that seems to slip away before it fully manifests. Through highly structured improvisation we delve into what it means to let go and carry on. In a world full of loss, the human spirit continues on. The lived body, a subject of memory. The work asks whether, in the absence of the past and the people we’ve lost, something new can emerge.

I Found A New Colour
‘I Found a New Colour’ is a meditation on how movement lingers in absence, how the body holds onto what disappears; a dance that seems to slip away before it fully manifests.
The heart of the piece submits the idea that it’s impossible for the brain to synthesise a new colour and yet the concept of ‘colour’ serves as a metaphor for the people we’ve lost, whose impact remains within us. The work asks whether, in the absence of the past and the people we’ve lost, something new can emerge.
Every atom is colour and their colour persists in the atoms that surround us.
