I work with materials that are stained, damaged, donated & unwanted, and I repurpose them into new one-of-a-designs. this extends their lifecycle, and is a living example of what can be created with existing materials! • Below are some incredible women-led Canadian fashion brands, who you have to check out! @dottyclothing is run by the fabulous Heather, she designs purposeful and ethically made clothing for real bodies! • @wearmayana is run by the fearless Nadine, she designs intimates that celebrates changing bodies, and is doesn’t stop at her studio, she takes her message to the street with her ‘Bust the Stigma’ campaign! • @formerastudio is run by the game changer Katie, who has single handedly brought back denim production to Canada! she is focused on the ‘no waist-gap’ jeans, making denim accessible for all bodies. • @daubanddesign is run by Lexi, she creates leisurewear & basics for women who value confidence, comfort, and conscious style.
